Role, Purpose, and Scope
  • Advisor, helper, facilitator for Service Delivery community
  • Report the financial performance of contracts, run month end processes with Finance team and outlook with the Delivery community
  • Assist Service Delivery team in understanding the financial & commercial impact of decisions
  • Help ensure that contract cost base is correct and billing is as per contract
  • Support contractual change as part of a wider team involving Sales, Solution Architect and Delivery.
Supports his/her manager in delivering their responsibilities and liaises with internal cross functional teams and countries
Major Responsibilities
Maximise the performance of contracts within your responsibility.  This will include but is not limited to:
  • Tracking of contract performance against original BC expectations.  Resolve any inaccuracies of cost base or missing revenue.
  • Ensuring all internal month end processes are completed accurately and meet the corporate timetable on deadline.
  • Work with Delivery to provide accurate contract revenue & GP outlook on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis
  • Support Service Improvement programs to contribute to improved financial performance
  • Own internal financial reporting including performance against outlook, performance against plan, YOY analysis, performance against business case.
  • Gain high level understanding of the service lines being supported by working closely with the Delivery team
  • Work as an integral part of the Delivery team.  Ensure the finances and outlooks are accurate and reported meeting internal deadlines.  Contribute to specific improvement actions relating to productivity and cost down initiatives.  Engage with Service Delivery colleagues to support profit improvement initiatives
  • Support the wider team in new business pursuit.  Use knowledge gained within the role to help ensure future business is supported by an accurate and realistic business case. 
  • One-off projects as required by the business.

Background, skills, experience and qualifications
  • A good communicator-being able to communicate with cross functional, multi country teams
  • Numerate with an ordered and structured mindset
  • A good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of analyzing data and presenting information in a comprehensive yet succinct format
  • Previous experience of working in a business environment
  • An understanding of financial systems e.g. ESAP XSAP
Basic understanding of business processes
Role specific competencies and requirements
Microsoft Tool suite – Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
Xerox specific systems such as billing will be provided as part of knowledge transfer
Financial modelling would be of advantage
